We're Hiring! Join our dedicated team at West Cork Connect
Dave Long Coach Travel and West Cork Connect, a leading Irish transport operator, is currently expanding its operations and routes, and is seeking to hire full-time and part-time bus drivers in the Skibbereen, Kinsale and Bantry areas.
Positions available:
- Full-time;
- Part-time (variable & flexible schedules).
Essential requirements for these positions:
- A full, clean Irish D driving licence or an EU bus driving licence equivalent;
- A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC);
- A valid driver tachograph card.
Essential skills & attributes required for these positions:
- Punctuality, dependability, dedication and enthusiasm;
- Prioritizes passenger safety and satisfaction;
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Professional appearance;
- Exhibits a flexible and adaptable work ethic.
Application Form:
Main responsibilities for driver positions include:
- Operating full-size coaches for our daily bus service;
- Ensuring passenger safety;
- Maintaining punctuality and reliability;
- Collecting fares, and issuing and verifying tickets;
- Coordinating with the office and other drivers regarding routes and timetables;
- Offering guidance to passengers regarding routes, ticketing and timetables;
- Conducting vehicle inspections daily;
- Adhering to our company standards and guidelines, as well as RSA driver guidelines;
- Performing additional duties as required.
